In a bold move to modernize Pakistan’s cross-border trade, the government is actively encouraging private sector participation in the digitization of trade processes. During a recent high-level meeting, Aftab Haider, CEO of Pakistan Single Window (PSW), was briefed on Galaxefi a cutting-edge digital trade solution by a delegation led by Asif Parvez, CEO of Galaxefi

Galaxefi is designed to revolutionize trade by offering real-time tracking, automated documentation, and streamlined logistics. Unlike conventional platforms reliant on outdated manual processes, Galaxefi delivers a trustworthy solution that enhances speed, transparency, and reliability in trade operations.

Expressing his support, the PSW CEO commended Galaxefi’s innovative approach and reiterated the government’s commitment to driving private sector-led automation of trade processes.

“We are dedicated to empowering private firms to automate trade operations, which is essential for recapturing billions lost due to manual processing delays,” he said.

The meeting also addressed the pressing challenges posed by traditional post-shipment documentation and regulatory compliance, which have long hindered trade efficiency. With global competitors rapidly integrating real-time systems to optimize supply chains, there is growing concern that Pakistan risks falling behind if immediate action isn’t taken.

The urgency of adopting modern trade technologies will be a key theme at the upcoming Pakistan Logistics and Shipping Summit (PLSS) 2025 in Karachi, scheduled for February 20, 2025, where industry leaders will explore strategies to enhance efficiency and global competitiveness in the trade sector.
